Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia University Cemetery organises wreath-laying ceremony on death anniversary of Brigadier Mohammad Usman

A wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the death anniversary of Brigadier Mohammad Usman, MVC was organised at Jamia Millia Islamia University Cemetery on July 03. Several officers from the Parachute Regiment of the Indian Army attended the function. The gallant officer, Late Brigadier Mohammad Usman is also known as “Saviour of Naushera” as during the 1947-48 war with Pakistan he recaptured Jhangar & Naushera of J&K. He attended martyrdom on 03 Jul 1948, he was honored with the Mahavir Chakra.
