Speaking on Opposition's boycott call for New Parliament’s inauguration, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur on May 25 said that if President herself has consented on inauguration of the New Parliament by PM Modi, then it is not wrong. She said, “The formation of New Parliament building in such short span of time in itself is a record. If the President herself gave her consent over inauguration to be done by PM Modi, then it cannot be considered wrong. If the PM and President along with other leaders participate in the inauguration ceremony, then it is a matter of pride for the country.”
