Accusing the Centre of ‘hijacking’ the services of the Delhi government, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on February 05 attacked Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over the appointment of principals for government schools in the national capital.Addressing a press conference in the Capital on February 05, the Delhi deputy CM said, “The Centre and the L-G have hijacked and taken over our services in an unconstitutional manner. If they would not have done so, each and every school in Delhi would have a Principal. The school is being run by the Vice Principal. The L-G should understand that these 244 schools also need Principals. Had the Service department been with us, the appointments would have been made long ago. This is unfortunate that they have hijacked the department. I appeal to the LG not to stall the appointments as it concerns the children’s future.
