Marco Rubio Arrives In India Amid High-Stakes Talks On Energy, Trade, Quad Strategy

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has begun his first official visit to India, with talks expected to focus heavily on energy cooperation, trade expansion and Indo-Pacific security. Rubio will participate in the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and hold discussions with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar amid evolving India-US relations under Donald Trump’s presidency. The visit also comes against the backdrop of global energy uncertainty, tariff disputes and strategic competition with China.
