The updated City continues with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, available with either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Honda has also retained the segment-first strong-hybrid powertrain, which delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.26 kmpl: the highest in its segment.
In India, the Honda ZR-V is expected to be offered with a single 2.0-litre NA petrol strong-hybrid powertrain. Internationally, this setup produces 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission.
The fifth-generation Honda City was launched in 2020 and later received a mid-life update with revised styling and a strong-hybrid option. The updated sedan was also recently spotted at a dealership ahead of its launch.
