Sonam Wangchuk To Join Cockroach Janata Party's Delhi Protest If Education Minister Doesn't Resign

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has said he will join the Cockroach Janata Party protest in Delhi on June 6 if no action is taken by June 5, supporting the demand for resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged failures in the education system. He announced the decision on X, saying he would stand with CJP members if concerns are not addressed. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke had earlier hinted at a major announcement and confirmed Wangchuk’s backing. In a video message, Wangchuk said the issue reflects wider concerns over NEET, CUET and CBSE examinations, calling it a deeper crisis in education policy and stressing the need for urgent reform and accountability.
