Karnataka: English lecturer resigns after being asked to remove hijab by college in Tumakuru

An English lecturer of Tumakuru's Jain PU college resigned after college allegedly asked her not to wear hijab during classes. "It is a matter of my self-respect. I am not comfortable working without a hijab, so I've resigned," she said in a self-made video.
