Neiphiu Rio sworn in as CM for 5th time; Nagaland gets its first woman minister

NDPP chief Neiphiu Rio was sworn in as the fifth chief minister of Nagaland on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, Nagaland Governor La Ganesan, BJP president JP Nadda, and Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the oath-taking event in Kohima. Taditui Rangkau Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton also took the oath of office as Nagaland's deputy chief ministers.
