Rajasthan: Chinoo, last white tiger of Nahargarh Biological Park, dies

A 6-year old white tiger, 'Chinoo' died of kidney ailment in Nahargarh Biological Park in Rajasthan. The white tiger was suffering from acute renal failure. It had also become feeble and hadn't eaten for the past four days. The post-mortem suggested that Chinoo's blood had high level of creatinine which its kidney couldn't filter out. Forest officials cremated the carcass as per the guidelines. Chinoo was brought from Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha last year. Since 2019, the zoo has seen many lions and tigers die before Chinoo's death became the last. There is no more white tiger left at the zoo.
