IPL legend Virat Kohli is once again leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 2023 Indian Premier League clash on Thursday at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali.
Sam Curran continues to captain Punjab Kings in absence of injured Shikhar Dhawan as he won the toss and elected to bowl first against a Virat Kohli-led RCB at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium.

Former RCB skipper Kohli is leading the side as regular skipper Faf du Plessis is playing as an impact player. Kohli said Faf can't field because of a bruised rib but will play in the batting innings as an Impact Player. He added that Faf will be replaced by seamer Vyshak Vijaykumar in the playing eleven at the innings break.
However, the return to captaincy for Kohli left fans thrilled who couldn’t contain their excitement and expressed it on social media.
