In the novel ‘To Sir Phillip, With Love’, Marina dies before Eloise Bridgerton falls for Phillip, which has fans wondering if Marina, played by Ruby Barker, could be in danger on the show. Another major theory involves Francesca Bridgerton. In ‘When He Was Wicked’, Francesca’s husband John dies, and she later finds love again with his cousin Michael.

John, played by Victor Alli, was introduced in season 3, along with his cousin Michaela, a gender-flipped version of the book character Michael. Speaking to E!
