In the legal drama, Chase plays Jake Gyllenhaal's daughter Jaden Sabich. Rusty Sabich (Jake Glynhall) is a Chicago prosecutor who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of his colleague Carolyn (Renate Reinsve), with whom he was having an affair.

In the series, Rusty suspects his wife, Barbara (Ruth Negga), of Carolyn’s murder, especially after it is revealed that she was expecting Rusty’s child. However, in the finale, when he finally confronts her and tells her about his cover-up, Jaden steps in to reveal that it was her.

A flashback scene between Chase and Renate reveals Jaden asking Carolyn to leave her father and family alone. But after Carolyn shares that she’s pregnant, Jaden snaps and kills her with a fire poker. The frightened teenager runs away and tries to cover her tracks.

At the BAFTA 2026, Irish Actress Jessie Buckley won the Best Leading Actress for her performance as Agnes Shakespeare, the wife of William Shakespeare, in ‘Hamnet.’ Chase Infiniti and Renate Reinsve were among the six nominees, which included Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Emma Stone. With this award, Jessie Buckley became the first Irish actress to win in the lead actress category.
