‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levinson donates $27,000 to Eric Dane’s GoFundMe to extend his support following the actor's demise

Sam Levinson, the creator of ‘Euphoria’, has stepped up in a big way to support Eric Dane’s family after the actor’s passing.He and his wife, Ashley Levinson, donated USD 27,000 to a GoFundMe campaign set up by Dane’s friends.The fundraiser launched on February 20, 2026, just a day after Eric Dane passed away at age 53 from complications of ALS. It aims to cover medical bills and secure the future for his daughters, Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 14, whom he shared with ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart. As of February 21, the campaign had raised over USD 200,000 toward its USD 250,000 goal, with Levinson’s contribution standing out as one of the largest.Friends of Eric Dane wrote on the GoFundMe page, “After his diagnosis, Eric became a fervent advocate for the ALS community, utilizing his voice and platform to support fellow patients and raise awareness.
