October 2025 calendar: 'Nobody Wants This' to 'Lazarus' series to look forward in the month

September 2025 saw a whole lot of drama (on the screens) – with Wednesday Addams setting out to find Enid, the suspicion continues in ‘Only Murders in the Building,’ and finally, the Raksha Bandhan twist in ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood.’ Ahead of the ‘Halloween’ month, a couple of new episodes await their release. From challenging the forbidden love in ‘Nobody Wants This’ to chronicling the story of convicted serial killer Ed Gein, let’s take a look at the web series to look forward to in October!

'Monster: The Ed Gein Story'

The upcoming season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s anthology series is set in the 1950s. From the world of Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez brothers, the story of serial killer Ed Gein will be released on October 3, 2025, on Netflix. Starring Charlie Hunnam, Addison Rae, and Laurie Metcalf, the eight-episode series chronicles how he lived in isolation and consumed himself in an obsession with his mother, birthing a new monster.

3/6

'Genie, Make a Wish'

Taking a long walk in the romantic-comedy world, ‘Genie, Make a Wish’ is an opposite-attracts trope on a platter with garnishes that include conversations about brutal reality. Ka-young is an emotionally distant person and awakens Genie, who has been asleep for 1000 years. However, the reality can be deceitful, as really is Iblis/Satan, and he wants to prove that humans cannot resist corruption. Starring Bae Suzy and Kim Woo-bin, the 12-episode series can be streamed on Netflix starting October 3, 2025.

'Nobody Wants This Season 2'

Oh, Joanne and Rabbi Noah are going to try the ‘interfaith thing’ – but the latter scoffing at the response said more than the words. ‘Nobody Wants This Season 2,’ starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, will take a new turn in the story, where the couple will try to be a ‘WE.’ As the duo challenges the perceptions and steps into a world of conflicting beliefs, the 10 upcoming episodes are expected to present thought-provoking questions. Created by Erin Foster, the season is dropping soon on October 23, 2025, on Netflix.

5/6

'The Witcher Season 4'

‘The Witcher Season 4’ would see a significant change from the heartthrob Henry Cavill to the proficient Liam Hemsworth as the lead, Geralt of Rivia. Earlier this month, a teaser was released, in which the actor fought a battle with a ghostly creature, ultimately ending it by snatching its heart and crushing it into numerous pieces. The new season continues the drama of the third, with eight more episodes that will be released on October 30, 2025. Hemsworth will continue the story to the finale, marking the end of the fan-favorite fantasy series.

6/6

'Harlen Coben's Lazarus'

‘Lazarus,’ starring Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, and Alexandra Roach, revolves around the story by best-selling author Harlan Coben. When Lazarus’ father dies, he believes that there’s more to his death, leading to an investigation into his sister’s murder 25 years ago. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 22. Taking a deep dive into the thrilling drama, the series hides the truths and traumas under the family name.
