Ever since the surprise attack of terrorist group Hamas on Israel on October 7, the situation has been tense with large scale loss of live and damages. US Secretary of Defence send reinforcements

According to an ANI report, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said that he has directed the movement of the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the Eastern Mediterranean. This includes the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60), and the Arleigh-Burke-class guided missile destroyers USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), USS Ramage (DDG 61), USS Carney (DDG 64), and USS Roosevelt (DDG 80). China deploys warships in Middle East

China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has deployed six warships in the Middle East region amid escalating tensions. The warships, including the Zibo, a Type 052D guided-missile destroyer, the frigate Jingzhou, and the integrated supply ship Qiandaohu, were part of the PLA's 44th naval escort task force. Chinese naval presence in Middle Eastern waters

On October 19, Chinese President Xi Jinping reaffirmed Beijing's longstanding position in favor of establishing a sovereign state of Palestine, according state media reports. He stressed that this approach represents "the fundamental way" to resolve the ongoing conflict in the region. “The top priority now is a ceasefire as soon as possible, to avoid the conflict from expanding or even spiraling out of control and causing a serious humanitarian crisis," Jinping said. UK to send the Royal navy

In response to the Hamas attack on Israel, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that the UK is deploying military vessels and surveillance aircraft to the Eastern Mediterranean.
