US president Donald Trump, on Thursday was booed at Yankee Stadium during a game held to commemorate the September 11th attacks.
Videos later shared online showed both cheering and booing as the president took his seat at the game. When the national anthem played and Trump appeared on the stadium jumbotron, sections of the crowd booed while others cheered.
This comes just a week after Trump was met with boos on Sunday at the US Open men’s final in New York, where his arrival caused long security delays for spectators.
Earlier in the day, Trump spoke at the Pentagon as part of the 9/11 remembrance events, where he also addressed the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a figure well-connected to his circle including vice president JD Vance and Donald Trump Jr.
