Poll of exit polls has predicted hung assemblies in MP and Chhattisgarh while Congress is projected to edge out BJP in Rajasthan. Stay with TOI for live updates
The main fight in the state is between K Chandrasekhar Rao-led TRS and Congress-led Mahakutami (grand alliance). The assembly polls were originally scheduled to be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections next year, but the House was dissolved on September 6 as per a recommendation of the state cabinet. It is to be seen if KCR's gamble to opt for early elections pays off.

What do opinion polls say?
In Rajasthan, opinion polls have predicted a victory for the Congress with majority of respondents tipping Sachin Pilot for the post of chief minister. Most opinion polls for Chhattisgarh have predicted a BJP win but shows a drop in its number of seats, indicating an increase in Congress's share. Meanwhile, pre-poll survey for MP predicts a narrow win for the BJP (122 seats) but a significant fall in its seat tally.
Voting in Rajasthan and Telangana has ended. The much-awaited exit poll prediction for these two states as well as Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram and Chhattisgarh will be out soon. Stay tuned as predictions roll out.
