Hero Xtreme 160 R 2V launched at Rs 1.11 lakh: New features with big price cut!

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 iteration of the Xtreme 160R 2V in India, starting at Rs 1.11 lakh, ex-showroom. This new pricing makes the bike approximately Rs 10,000 more affordable compared to its predecessor.

What’s New in the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V?

The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V brings several notable upgrades. One of the key highlights is a Drag Race Timer, integrated into the fully digital instrument cluster. This feature offers two modes: D1 for 0-60 kmph acceleration timing and D2 for quarter-mile (402m) timing. It is sourced from the 4V variant.

Another significant change comes in the form of a redesigned tail lamp. The new, sleeker tail light design not only modernizes the bike's rear profile but also carries the brand’s distinctive "H" logo.



Besides that, the new Xtreme 160R 2V features a flatter seat profile, which substantially enhances comfort for both the rider and the pillion. The pillion seat height has been significantly lowered, and the span of the rear grip has been increased. The model is offered in a single colour scheme called Stealth Black. This version sports an all-black body with striking red accents.

2024 Xtreme 160R 2V: Engine and hardware

The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V is powered by the same 163.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 15 hp and 14 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The bike's braking system consists of a single front disc brake coupled with a rear drum brake setup. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. At its new price of Rs. 1.11 lakh, the Xtreme 160R 2V is positioned as a more affordable option within its segment.
