Dehradun airport: The newly-constructed terminal building (phase II) at Dehradun Airport has been built at a cost of Rs 486 crore across 42,776 square meters. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted during the inaugural ceremony that the terminal would bolster tourism, employment, regional connectivity, and the economy in the northern state.

Dehradun airport new terminal capacity: The new Jolly Grant airport terminal’s average peak hour capacity is set to be at 3,240 passengers. It has an annual capacity of 47 lakh passengers.

Dehradun airport: The airport features a 2140-meter runway and an apron with a total of 20 parking bays. The new terminal is furnished with essential passenger amenities, including 48 check-in counters, 04 conveyor belts, 12 baggage X-ray machines, and parking space for 500 cars.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who joined virtually, described the new terminal of the Dehradun airport as a blend of culture, nature, and modern architecture, expected to bolster industry, employment, and tourism in the area.
