Ahmedabad: The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city on Saturday were normal, according to the India meteorological department (IMD) bulletin. The forecast indicated a chance of temperatures remaining in the same range for the next three days.According to the IMD, the maximum temperature was 42 degrees celsius, which was normal, whereas minimum temperature at 28.2 degrees celsius was 0.7 degree above normal. The maximum temperature in Ahmedabad on Sunday is likely to be around 42 degrees celsius, according to the forecast.“No large change in maximum temperatures during next three days. Thereafter gradual fall by 2-3 degrees celsius very likely over the region. Maximum temperatures likely to be above 40 degrees celsius during next five days at isolated pockets over the state,” according to the forecast for Gujarat.At 43.2 degrees celsius, Surendranagar recorded the highest maximum temperature, followed by 42.7 degrees in Rajkot, 42.3 degrees in Amreli, 42 degrees in Ahmedabad and Vallabh Vidyanagar among others.
