GNLU sets up centre for medico-legal policy research
Ahmedabad: Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) on Saturday launched the GNLU Centre for Healthcare, Ethics, Legal Advocacy & Policy Research (G-HELP) in the presence of state health commissioner Harshad Patel, Indian Medical Association (IMA) president-elect Dr Anil Nayak, and Gujarat Medical Council (GMC) president Dr Nitin Vora. The centre will study medico-legal issues and work towards interdisciplinary research, said officials.GNLU on Saturday also organised a conference on ‘Developing Alternative Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration Centre in GIFT-IFSC.' Experts, including IFSCA chairperson K Rajaraman and executive director Praveen Trivedi, discussed topics such as envisioning GIFT-IFSC as a global dispute resolution hub.
