New creative space launched at Kanoria Centre for Arts

Ahmedabad: Sajjan Jindal, chairman of JSW Group, on Friday participated in the foundation stone-laying ceremony of Sangita Jindal Craft Shila at Kanoria Centre for Arts. He was in city as the chief guest for Ahmedabad University’s convocation. Others present at the event included Urmila Kanoria, chairperson of the of Kanoria Centre for Arts.Conceived as both an exhibition space and an active workshop environment, the Sangita Jindal Craft Shila will provide a setting where craft will be experienced as a living process as it will bring together artisans, artists, designers and audiences through exhibitions, hands-on workshops, demonstrations and collaborative engagements, said organisers.
