Ajmer: Public health and engineering department (PHED) on Thursday lodged an FIR against 13 people of Bhudol village for siphoning off water from the water supply pipeline. The department said that because of the illegal connections installed by these people, there was water crisis in Godiyawas, Gudda and Naulakha villages. The assistant engineer of the PHED lodged the FIR at Gegal police station naming the 13 people and stated that they had in the past siphoned off water from the pipeline to different parts of the district. At that time, their illegal connections were closed and they were warned but they again restored the illegal connections, the FIR stated.
