Task force arrests two smugglers and seizes 63 red sanders logs and a country weapon

TIRUPATI: Reddy sanders anti smuggling task force sleuths arrested two smugglers and seized 63 red sanders logs and a country weapon from the possession of the accused near KVB puram forest area in Tirupati district on Wednesday.According to Task force SP P Srinivas, RSI M Muralidhar Reddy and his team spotted a group of smugglers carrying red sanders logs inside the KVB puram forest area late on Tuesday night.While some of the smugglers absconded away after sighting the task force sleuths, two smugglers were apprehended.The task force sleuths who seized 63 red sanders logs and the country weapon used by the smugglers to hunt animals inside the forest area, have now laid a hunt to nab the other smugglers who absconded away.
