Man murders wife and escapes

BANGALORE: A 26-year-old man slit his wife’s throat on Friday night and escaped from their house in Sanjaynagar. The deceased is Nagaveni (19) and the husband Shivaprasad, police said.
The couple married one year ago, but they quarrelled frequently. Shivaprasad, from Mulbagal, was working in the house-keeping section of a eatery chain in Bangalore. Nagaveni was a domestic help.
Shivaprasad’s brother Lakshmipathi, staying nearby, used to come to their house for food.On Saturday morning, when he came for breakfast, there was no response to the doorbell. He peeped inside to find his sister-in-law in a pool of blood.
