BANGALORE: Members of the Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike (Karnataka Communal Harmony Forum) and the Moudyacharana Thade Okkoota (Anti-superstition forum) on Friday staged a protest at Town Hall condemning the arrival of evangelist Benny Hinn to the city.
Members said that it is ironical given that the state government is working to introduce an anti-superstition bill and at the same time, encouraging Benny Hinn, who takes undue advantage of people's worries to spread superstition.

Hinn is popular for his 'faith healing summits' and 'miracle crusades'. He has also been in the thick of controversy for making theological remarks during television appearances and also in public.
The anti-superstition forum is likely to meet on Saturday to discuss future course of action.
