Senior citizen found dead

Sixty-one-year-old Kousalya, a resident of Ejipura, was found murdered in her house on Wednesday. Nine stab injuries were found on Kousalya's body. Vivek Nagar police investigating the case suspect someone known to her family might have been involved in the gruesome murder as the house had auto-locked door. The deceased's husband Palaniswamy, a milk merchant, was out on work when the incident took place.At 2.15 pm, Palaniswamy got a missed call from his house landline number, but when he reverted, his call wasn't received. Neighbours tried to peep in through the window and found Kousalya's body in a pool of blood.
