TCS partners Mistral AI to build enterprise-grade custom AI models
Bengaluru: TCS has entered a strategic partnership with French AI company Mistral AI, becoming the first global systems integrator partner for Mistral Forge, the company’s enterprise AI platform for building frontier-grade AI models using proprietary enterprise knowledge and domain-specific data.
As part of the collaboration, TCS will use Mistral Forge to build custom AI models for enterprises, enabling customers to combine their enterprise data and context to improve business decision-making. The partnership will leverage TCS’ global presence across North America, the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific to deliver AI solutions tailored to industry-specific operational and regulatory requirements.
The initial focus will be on sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, healthcare and the public sector, where demand for trusted AI adoption is rising rapidly.
TCS will also establish a centre of excellence (CoE) for Mistral to develop industry-specific solutions, support project delivery, and accelerate customer adoption through early access to Mistral’s beta models. The Centre of Excellence will serve as a hub for advanced AI talent, training, and capabilities required to design, deploy and govern enterprise AI systems.
Arthur Mensch said, “TCS’ global scale and contextual industry knowledge make them an ideal partner for Mistral. Together, we are enabling enterprises worldwide to move from experimentation to AI deployment with systems that are open, production-ready and aligned with their strategic and operational requirements.”
K Krithivasan said the partnership reinforces TCS’ commitment to scaling enterprise AI with trust, control and measurable business outcomes at the core.
“This partnership expands TCS’ AI ecosystem, uniquely positioning TCS to create a differentiated solution proposition for our clients. Together with Mistral, we will solve specific industry challenges, regulatory requirements and sovereign needs for our enterprise customers,” he said.
