BHOPAL: President Ramnath Kovind will reach Bhopal on Friday evening for a three-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. Kovind is expected to visit Ujjain on the last day of his stay in the state.
The President is also scheduled to inaugurate the 'Arogya Manthan' programme on May 28 at
Kushabhau International Samagra Centre Bhopal on the topic "One nation-one health".
Governor Mangubhai Patel, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Ayush minister Ramkishore Kavre will also be present on the occasion.
He will also perform "bhoomi pujan" for upgradation and construction of 85 health institutions across the state the same evening at a programme in Motilal Nehru stadium. He will leave for Ujjain the next day at 8.30 am.
District collector Avinash Lavania on Thursday visited Motilal Nehru stadium to take stock of the preparations being made for the function.
He later visited the office of Bhopal police commissioner Makrand Deoskar to review the security arrangements during the President's visit to Bhopal with the police officials.
