Bhopal: Following the MPHC’s verdict on Bhojshala, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav on Friday said that the state govt “will provide full cooperation” in ensuring the implementation of the order. Taking to the social media, Mohan Yadav said, “The decision given by the hon’ble high court, recognising Dhar’s historic Bhojshala as a protected monument and the place of worship of Maa Vagdevi, is a significant moment in honouring our cultural heritage, faith and history.”Yadav said that the dignity of Bhojshala will be further strengthened under the protection and management of the ASI, and the rights of devotees to offer prayers will be ensured.“The directive to the central govt to consider bringing the idol of Maa Vagdevi back from the UK to India is welcome,” Mohan Yadav said on X. “The state govt will make necessary efforts in this direction. Our culture has always been a carrier of ‘sarva dharma sambhav’, social harmony, and brotherhood. We fully respect the court’s decision and are committed to further strengthening harmony, cultural pride, and social goodwill in the state,” the chief minister said.State BJP chief Hemant Khandelwal said, “Dhar Bhojshala is our identity, the centre of faith and the pride of our culture. Victory to Sanatan Dharma.”
