Man electrocuted in field, body dumped in dam to mislead cops
Jabalpur: Police solved the case of a body found tied with wire and dumped in a dam, revealing that a 26-year-old man died after coming into contact with a live GI wire laid for hunting in a field in the Kundam police station area.According to police, the accused laid a GI wire connected to an electric current to trap animals. Kapil Temre (26), a resident of Ghughra village, came into contact with the wire and died on the spot. To conceal the incident, the accused tied the body with GI wire, wrapped it in a blanket along with heavy stones, and dumped it into Sil Dam.

Police said Kapil left home on Jan 30 to go to the fields but did not return. His family searched for him and later lodged a missing complaint at Kundam police station on Sunday. His body was recovered on Tuesday, tied with wire and wrapped in a blanket weighted with stones, after which police registered a merg and began an investigation.Police identified Lamman Singh Kadopa (32), Raju Singh Udde (41), Ramkumar alias Munna Maravi (32), Gulzar Singh Barkade (39), Bhag Singh Marko (38), and Mahendra Singh (40), all residents of Ghughra village, as the accused. Police said Kapil's companion, Deepu Kadopa, lost consciousness after the incident but survived.
