Bhopal: A 40-year-old man died on Saturday evening in Karond, the Nishatpura police station area.Police said according to his wife, he had been suffering from heatstroke for the past four days. On Saturday evening, he reportedly lost consciousness while sitting near the temple. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.According to the police, Nandlal (40), was a resident of Karond Square. Four days ago, he was hit by severe heat and had been undergoing treatment.Local residents said that Nandlal’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday evening, and he lay down near a temple. He never regained consciousness afterward. People informed his wife that Nandlal was lying unconscious near the temple. By the time she reached the spot, Nandlal had already died.Police said the man was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. Heat stroke appeared as the primary cause of death and cause of death would further get confirmed as the investigation proceeds.
