Pact for gender equality curriculum in state

Bhubaneswar: The school and mass education department on Monday signed a memorandum-of-understanding (MoU) with Breakthrough and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, South Asia, to integrate a gender equity curriculum into the syllabus for students across government schools in the state.
At the event, school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said, “We are working on ensuring gender equality in Odisha.”tnn
