Also, two drivers, Vijay Kumar and Mahinder, landed in trouble for not marking their leave from June 14-18. Absent for the last four days, no one knew the whereabouts of Maninder Singh, another employee of the board. Setia has mentioned in his report that Dua, who came to the office quite late, is not medically fit to discharge his duties.
A notice was also issued to Ashish Ahuja of the Red Cross for reaching office late. The raid was carried out on the directions of UT deputy commissioner Arun Kumar to tighten up on staff wanting in terms of work culture.
Among the other offices raided were Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) and UT food and supplies department.
The functioning of RLA was found to be satisfactory. However, an assistant food and supplies officer and a food inspector were found sitting idle. They were advised to mend their ways.
