ROHTAK: An additional sessions judge died and two women administrative officials and their driver suffered injuries in a head-on collusion between their vehicles on the Hisar-Chandigarh highway near Dhakal village of Jind district on Tuesday.

Sushila Rawat and programme officer Sarita Chaudhary -- were going to Kurukshetra to attend a training programme from Hisar in their official Bolero.
Police said the driver of the Bolero Karamchand tried to overtake another vehicle, but failed to spot the car coming from opposite direction. All injured were rushed to Narwna civil hospital where the judge succumbed to his injures while the other three were referred to Hisar hospital.
Jind DSP Rameshwar Singh said the nephew of the judge, Smarat Singh who was also travelling in the same car, escaped with minor injuries. A case of causing death due to rash and negligence driving has been registered against the Bolero driver on the complaint of Smarat.
