Justice Sabina to retire on Wed, but no notification on HP HC CJ’s post

Chandigarh: Justice Sabina of the Himachal Pradesh high court is set to retire on April 19, but the central government is yet to notify her appointment as the Chief Justice of the same HC. She took over as the Acting Chief Justice of the HP high court on January 21, 2023.
On February 8, the Supreme Court (SC) collegium headed by Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud had recommended her name for the post of Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh, along with Chief Justices of Patna, Guwahati and Tripura high courts.The notification pertaining to appointment of all others has been sent by the Centre
