<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">JALANDHAR: Mangat Ram Pasla, secretary of CPM (Punjab) has stated that his party would have no poll understanding with either the Congress, the BJP or any of their allies.<br /><br />He would consider an understanding with the Lok Bhalai Party only after April 25, the last day of filing nominations. "The democratic system had degenerated," he said, referring to the lack of issues.

<br /><br />"Ram Mandir, foreign origin of Sonia Gandhi and actors'' dialogues had become the issues in the present times," he said.<br /><br />He said the people''s issues were no longer relevant and electioneering had become a "game to be played only by <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">crorepatis</span>". <br /><br />"Even those parties that were to forge the Third Front are aligning with the Congress or the BJP," he said.<br /><br />"Even after declaring in the central committee meeting that the party would neither align with the Congress nor the BJP the CPM general secretary Harkishen Surjit is openly attending public functions organised by the Congress in Hoshiarpur," Pasla said at a press conference. <br /><br />He said his party would field Sukhdev Bari from Sangrur and Bhagwan Singh Sanaur from Bathinda. <br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
