Sanour MLA for temple of Mata Kaushalya in Ghuram

Patiala: AAP MLA from Sanour Harmeet Singh Pathanamajra on Monday unveiled plans for construction of Mata Kaushalya Mandir in Ghuram, supported by devotees and backed by a substantial investment. The MLA donated Rs 1 lakh for the temple, while Rs 10 lakh were collected on-site on Monday.
Highlighting the significance of Ghuram as a symbol of religious unity, the legislator urged central government to allocate funds for a four-lane road connecting Patiala to Ghuram-Pathanmajra.
Emphasizing the importance of Ghuram, the maternal village of Lord Ram, the MLA soughtRs 200-crore development projects. He said Mata Kausalya’s village should not be overlooked. He also proposed Mata Kaushalya international airport in Patiala.
