PATIALA: Gurmit Singh of Timbarpur village in Fatehgarh district, who was also released on Sunday, has noted down the names of 10 Indians lodged in Kota and seven in Kot Lakhpat jail. These include Satnam Singh s/o Balwinder Singh of Sohal village (Gurdaspur), Rajwinder Singh s/o Dalip Singh Ajrawar village (Patiala), Harmesh Singh s/o Chaman Chhandole of Khurd village (Nawanshahr), Sukhwinder Singh s/o Baldev Singh Malak of Sekha village (Ambala), Bachitar Singh s/o Kashmir Singh Urnayia village (Kurukshetra), Balwinder Singh s/o Niranjan Singh of Niwarasi village (Kurukshetra), Inderjit Singh s/o Surjan Singh of Barara village (Ambala), Surjit Singh s/o Mann Singh of Tahli Farm village (Pahewa), Sarabjit Singh s/o Sujan Singh of Bakhli Plot No 5 (Kurukshetra) and Rakesh Singh s/o Sher Singh Kashmirgarh village (Yamunanagar), in Kota Jail.

Those in Kot Lakhpat jail include Maninder Pal Singh s/o Santokh Singh Arnaia village (Hoshiarpur), Gurpreet Singh Pannu of Reta village (Shahkot-Jalandhar), Kehar Singh of Begowal Mukeriyaan village (Hoshiarpur), Harvinder Singh of Guraya village (Hoshiarpur), Shiv Kumar of Karavar village (Balachaur), Kuldeep Singh of Bhatnura village, Bhogpur (Jalandhar) and Jagjit Singh of Guru Ram Dass Centre, Sultanpur Road (Amritsar). Gurmit said he also met Surjit Singh of Moga, who was lodged in Kot Lakhpat jail for the last 23 years. Surjit has devoted all his time to Gurubani recitation and has not even informed his family that he is jailed in Pakistan, he said.
