Interim budget to be presented on Saturday

CHENNAI: The interim budget session of Tamil Nadu Assembly on Friday adjourned after paying homage to Chengam MLA, Polur M Varadan, who died last week.
When the house met today, Speaker R Avudaiyappan moved a resolution to condole the death of the departed member and the House observed two minutes silence.
Later, speaking to the reporters, after chairing the Business Advisory Committee meeting, Avudaiyappan said the Budget Session will be on till February 10.
He said that the interim budget of the Tamil Nadu government will be presented here tomorrow by Finance Minister K Anbazhagan.
