CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister
O Panneerselvam presented Rs 50 lakh as the government's contribution to host the Chennai International Film Festival, which opens on Thursday. Suhasini Maniratnam, along with other organisers belonging to the Indi Cine Appreciation Foundation, visited the chief minister at the secretariat on Wednesday.
CIFF 2017 will feature 35 hand-picked films from around the world at Inox (Citi Centre), Palazzo (Forum Mall, Vadapalani), RKV Studios (Vadapalani), Casino and Russian Culture Centre.
