In a significant breakthrough after 17 days, rescue officials finally able to pull out 41 workers trapped inside the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. The workers were trapped inside the tunnel after it collapsed on November 12. The rescue operation was a collaborative effort between NDRF, SDRF, Army, and locals, to name a few.
