Actor claims Unitech promoters met conman at Tihar Jail

New Delhi: Actor-model Chahat Khanna has claimed that Unitech promoters Sanjay Chandra and Ajay Chandra were present during one of her meetings with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, accused in a Rs 200-crore money laundering case, at Tihar Jail, the enforcement directorate claimed in their chargesheet filed in the matter.
The chargesheet added that co-accused Pinki Irani introduced Khanna to Chandrashekhar when she went to meet him in prison.No checking was done and no IDs were taken, but she did sign on a register.
“Then, two jail officials in uniform along with Sanjay Chandra escorted both of them to the first floor. There were many gadgets, a big TV, a play station, AC, Apple Bluetooth speakers, laptops, sofa, recliner, cooler, fridge, phones, Rolex watches, many expensive Gucci, LV, Hermes bags. Soon, Ajay Chandra came along with Shekhar,” Khanna said in a statement given to the probe agency, which is part of the chargesheet. TNN
