Delhi: Golden kalash worth Rs 1.5 crore stolen from jain fest at Red Fort; FIR registered

A one kg gold kalash was stolen. The incident happened during a Jain Samaj festival near Red Fort. The festival was held at 15 August Park. Police received a complaint on September 3. Kotwali police station registered a case. The case is under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 303(2).

NEW DELHI: Two golden kalash, valued at Rs 1.5 crore, were stolen from a religious event held opposite the Red Fort in North Delhi.Police said that they received a PCR call regarding the theft of 1 kg of gold kalash at Kotwali police station on Wednesday. CCTV footage shows the thief escaping with the valuables.
