NEW DELHI: Swati Singh Verma, wife of BJP candidate Parvesh Verma, expressed her gratitude to voters following her husband's decisive victory in the New Delhi Assembly constituency. Parvesh Verma's win marked a significant defeat for former chief minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
Swati Singh Verma stated that Parvesh's victory is a testament to the unwavering trust people have in the BJP and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It reflects the public's confidence in the party's vision.

"Today's victory shows that people have trust in BJP and PM Modi," said Swati Singh Verma.
In a closely watched battle, Parvesh Verma defeated Arvind Kejriwal by 4,089 votes. His victory dealt a major blow to the ruling AAP, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of the capital.
“This new government will bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to Delhi. I credit this victory to PM Modi and thank the people of Delhi. This is the victory of both Modi and the people,” Parvesh Verma said.
Parvesh Verma’s daughters thank voters, criticize AAP’s governance
BJP candidate Parvesh Verma’s daughters, Trisha and Sanidhi, expressed their gratitude to voters while taking a strong stance against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
In their post-election remarks, the sisters thanked the electorate for their support and simultaneously criticized Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP, highlighting key concerns about the party’s governance.
“We thank the people of New Delhi for their support. The people of Delhi will never make the mistake of giving a second chance to a person who runs the government by telling lies. We knew there would be a clear-cut victory; we were just waiting for the right time. This time, the people of Delhi did not let lies win,” Trisha and Sanidhi said.
