MAPUSA: A Nadorawadi resident was booked for causing injuries by rash and negligent driving by Mapusa police.
Complaint on behalf of the state was registered that accused Varun Desai resident of Nadorawadi in Bardez, riding rode his motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner, without proper care and caution while proceeding from Colvale to Revora with pillion rider on his motorcycle and when reached at Tarchigal in Colvale dashed against on coming private passenger bus which was proceeding in opposite direction.
As a result of the collision, accused rider and pillion rider sustained serious bodily injuries. Police has registered the case under sections 279, 338 of IPC and further investigations are in progress.
