CHANDIGARH: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government on Monday transferred 27 senior IAS officers with immediate effect without mentioning any reasons.
The government even shifted the administrative heads of important departments like town and country planning, excise and taxation and finance. The transfers have been made days after Justice S N Dhingra submitted his report to the government regarding controversial land deals and change of land use (CLU) permissions.
Issuance of CLU licences, which are issued by town and country planning department, had become a major issue in the state during previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government.
As per the fresh orders, additional chief secretary P Raghavendra Rao has been transferred from town and country planning to look after finance and planning departments. Additional chief secretary S S Prasad has been posted to look after town and country planning department as an additional charge apart from food and supplies department.
Rajan Gupta, additional chief secretary (power department), has been posted to look after health department in place of P K Mahapatra, who goes as additional chief secretary, women and child development department.
Additional chief secretary (finance and planning) Sanjeev Kaushal goes as additional chief secretary, excise and taxation department, and will also have additional charge of public health engineering department.
Vijai Vardhan, additional chief secretary (higher education and cultural affairs), will now look after labour department while Rajni Sekhri Sibal has been posted as additional chief secretary (animal husbandry and dairying) in place of Abhilaksh Likhi who goes as principal secretary (tourism).
Shashi Bala Gulati has been posted as additional chief secretary (archives, archaeology and museums) in place of Shrikant Walgad, who goes as principal secretary (environment). Alok Nigam has been posted as additional chief secretary (cooperation).
T C Gupta has been posted as principal secretary (monitoring and coordination) while S N Roy has been posted as principal secretary (fisheries) in place of Anil Malik, who goes as principal secretary (technical education) relieving A K Singh of the said charge.
Anil Kumar has been posted as principal secretary (welfare of scheduled castes and backward classes) in place of T C Gupta. Mahavir Singh, principal secretary (civil aviation and labour) has been posted as principal secretary (higher education) giving him additional charge of civil aviation department.
Sumita Misra goes as principal secretary (housing department and cultural affairs) from tourism department.
Anurag Rastogi has been posted as principal secretary (power and irrigation) from excise and taxation and irrigation departments.
Anand Mohan Sharan, principal resident commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, has been given the additional charge of principal secretary, urban local bodies department.
A K Singh has been posted as principal secretary (employment and mines and geology) and inquiry officer, vigilance department, Haryana.
Vijayendra Kumar has been posted as secretary, general administration, while Subhash Chandra has been posted as director general, consolidation of holdings and land records. Pradeep Kasni, director general, science and technology has been posted as secretary, finance in place of C G Rajnikaanthan, whose orders will be issued later on.
Saket Kumar has been posted as special secretary, health department, while Anshaj Singh, director, industrial training and employment department, has been given the additional charge of managing director, dairy development cooperative federation. Rajiv Rattan, additional secretary, health department, has been posted as director, science and technology department.
