Karnataka horror: Woman hangs 3 kids, consumes diesel to end life over family dispute; survives
HUBBALLI: A woman allegedly hanged her three children and then attempted to take her own life by consuming diesel, police said on Monday.The incident occurred within the limits of the Badami Police Station, according to Bagalkot superintendent of police Siddharth Goyal.

All three children died in the incident, while the woman is in critical condition and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bagalkot.Police said her statement will be recorded after assessing her medical condition.SP Goyal said, “A woman attempted suicide after hanging her three children. The incident occurred within the limits of the Badami Police Station. She is under treatment, and her statement will be recorded later.”According to news agency ANI, the woman’s husband, Hanumanth, had dropped his mother at a temple in the morning and then gone to work in the fields. Reports suggest that a minor quarrel took place the previous night.Sources also indicate that there was a dispute between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The couple, Hanumanth and Rupa, have been married for eight years.(With agency inputs)
