Laxmeshwar police crack youth’s murder mystery

Gadag: Laxmeshwar police cracked the murder case of Faruk Shaikh Sanadi, 25, who was found murdered in an agricultural field in Shigli village on Friday night, by arresting four persons on Sunday. Since he was engaged to a woman, her lover allegedly planned Sanadi's murder. Police said that Davalsab Makanadar, a resident of Annigeri, his friend Maqbulsab, and two minor boys were involved in the offence. "Makanadar admitted that he was having an affair with the woman to whom Sanadi was engaged three months ago. He called Sanadi to resolve the issue. As the quarrel escalated, Makanadar and his associates strangled Sanadi to death," they added. SP Rohan Jagadeesha formed a team to crack the case. Sanadi hailed from Harlapur in Kundagol taluk but was residing at his relatives' house in Shigli.
