12 finalists to vie for Miss Femina South crown

HYDERABAD: Twelve finalists for the Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2011 were unveiled at an event at Hotel Novotel in the city on Wednesday. The contestants will vie with each other for the crown during the grand finale on December 22, 2010.
The finalists are Akansha Patil, Apoorva Mitra, Denzilina Brown, Kavya Shetty, Nesha Barahmand, Nidhi Sunil, Pallavi Singh, Raiza Wilson, Reenu Vijaya Kumar, Rikee Chatterjee, Shweta Dolli and Yamini Archarya.
Fashion director and contest director Marc Robinson introduced the contestants of the pageant. The grooming and training of the contestants is being taken care of by the Femina Miss India expert panel comprising, apart from Marc Robinson, Mickey Mehta, holistic health and fitness guru, Alecia Raut, ramp walk trainer, Rama Vaidyanathan, diction expert, Naini Setalvad, nutritionist, and Jitu Savlani, fashion photographer. Hair and make-up for the contestants for the unveiling and grand finale is by Bharat and Dorris.
"Pantaloons Femina Miss India is a unique pageant which scouts for beauty and talent from across the country," said Zahid Shaik, head of marketing, Pantaloons.
Associate sponsor of the event RMKV Wedding Silks ran a wild card entry contest on their website and Pallavi Singh emerged the winner to become one of the 12 finalists.
